Positive displacement Injector system
Principal of operation PDI: A positive displacement injector (PDI) system is the perfect solution that gives the ability to apply a precise amount of lubricant exactly where it is needed, to lubrication points and bearings. A main line carries lubricant from the pump to distributors close to the lubrication points. Each point has its own metering element. The lubrication cycle consists of a compression stroke and, after the metering elements have discharged, a relief stroke. PDI Systems are best suited for small and medium sized machinery. A major benefit of a PDI system is that points can easily be added to or removed from an existing system, depending on lubrication requirements. |
